About the Symposium

The NCPI believes that all Brazilian children in early childhood are entitled to the same opportunities to fully develop. And science has a lot to contribute to making this happen. The application of scientific knowledge in public policies and programs is essential to strengthen and qualify initiatives committed to child development.

The repercussions of the pandemic on Brazilian children, especially those in situations of social vulnerability, require multiple efforts. Therefore, the IX edition of the Symposium will offer a space for inspiration, debate and provocation with leading experts in Brazil and around the world to connect public managers and leaders to the latest scientific evidence on early childhood development. The event will offer possible ways to face and address current challenges, through effective public policies for young children and their families.
